** In case you have a train ticket towards Aguas Calientes same day, it should be after 4:30 pm. because the tour ends at Ollantaytambo at 4:00 pm. and you need time to get to the train station. (You will also miss the visit to Chinchero).
This tour depart at 8:00 am in Cusco by Tourist transportation to travel towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The first visit is to the Inca citadel of PISAQ and then a visit to the typical native market of Pisaq where we will have the opportunity to observe the customs and traditions of the Quechua people.
Then we go to the City of Urubamba, traveling along the banks of the Vilcanota River (time for Lunch at a Tourist Restaurant).
In the afternoon we visit the magnificent Citadel of OLLANTAYTAMBO, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions by the inhabitants of the jungle. We will have the opportunity to walk through the town and have a clear idea of what this military, religious and cultural center was like during the Inca Empire.
On the way back to Cusco we will visit the picturesque town of CHINCHERO, where the remains of the royal hacienda of Túpac Inca Yupanqui are located. We will visit the Inca Wall in the main square and the colonial temple with interesting frescoes in the portico, built on the foundations of an Inca building. At the end of the tour we return to Cusco.
