Humantay Lagoon Tour Full day

Humantay is a beautiful glacial lagoon located in the Andes of Peru, near the town of Soraypampa on the Salkantay Inca Trail route. The lake is fed by melting snow and ice from the Humantay mountain, which is part of the Vilcabamba mountain range. The turquoise waters of the Lagoon are surrounded by snow-capped mountains, rocky cliffs and lush vegetation, creating a stunning and tranquil setting for visitors. The lake is also considered sacred by the natives, who have revered it since time immemorial as a magical-spiritual site.

The hike to the Humantay Lagoon is highly appreciated by every visitor who comes to the Cusco region. The hike is somewhat challenging and involves a steep climb to an altitude of over 4,200 meters (13,800 feet), but the scenery from the top is well worth the effort.
