Tour to Machu Picchu by Bicycle 04 Days

ITINERARY:
Day 01: Cusco – Abra Malaga – Santa María.

7:30am Pick up from the hotel to go to the Malaga pass (4350 meters above sea level); On the way we will see attractive places such as Chinchero and the sacred valley of the Incas (4 hours of travel by bus). Already in the Malaga pass we will begin with the downhill bicycle tour (5 hours) descending into the edge of the jungle passing through small towns, fruit fields, rivers and we arrive at the archaeological site of HUAMANMARCA guided tour. Arrival in Santa María. Overnight.

Day 02: Santa María – Thermal Baths –Santa Teresa.

Breakfast and start of the walk along the banks of the Vilcanota River, crossing oroyas, pedestrian bridges. On this journey we also find original Inca trails, and we go deeper into the jungle and we will be able to see coca, coffee, and exotic fruits plantations such as mango, pineapple, oranges, avocado, medicinal plants and birds typical of the area. Lunch at Kellomayo. Optional. Visit the Thermal Baths and then arrive at Santa Teresa. Overnight.

Day 03: Santa Teresa – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes.

We continue with our journey on this journey, we will cross La Oroya and we will also have a guided tour of the Intihuatana (small archaeological complex). We will see waterfalls and the beautiful silhouette of Machu Picchu. Arrival at Aguas Calientes at 4 pm. Rest in hotel. Overnight.

Day 04: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco.

Breakfast very early and then take a 1-hour walk to reach Machu Picchu, a 3-hour guided tour of the archaeological complex, a tour of the main sectors and then enough free time. In the afternoon return by train Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo and from there to Cusco.
